Children With AIDS Charity cabaret fundraiser to benefit slum children in Kenya

Children With AIDS Charity (CWAC) in association with Critical Mass is holding a gala evening at 8pm on Sunday, 27th April at the Arts Theatre, London WC2 benefitting some of the neediest children in Nairobi, Kenya. Line up includes: Tanyalee Davis, Paul L Martin, Janie Dee, Shoo Shoo Baby, Steve Rawlins, Kate Copstick and Fascinating Aida (reunited for the first time in four years!).

Children With AIDS Charity/Critical Mass have been delivering workshops on documentary making, devised theatre making, and capacity building and marketing for small organisations, to very deprived young people with diverse tribal backgrounds. The response has been phenomenally positive and we have had huge encouragement to continue the project over a year.

Tickets are available at £15 (regular) £25 (VIP). All tickets include a free drink after the show; VIP tickets also include a pre-show drinks reception and a gift made by some of the young artists who will benefit from the fundraiser. Every penny raised goes directly to supporting young performing and media artists and HIV+ kids in Nairobi. Book online via Ticketmaster

Critical Mass is a performing arts organisation established in 2002 which is dedicated to supporting and promoting performance work from the developing world, and to using theatre and allied techniques to help promote peace and sustainable development in troubled areas. Critical Mass has delivered projects in Uganda, Israel/Palestine, Northern Ireland, Vietnam and various Balkan states.
