Clients'
Feedback:
Each year, clients
receiving grants are given feedback questionnaires about
the projects, which ask about the issues they are currently
facing and suggestions for future improvements to our services. The comments included
below are some of the responses clients gave when asked
how the Hardship and Respite Breaks Project has helped them.
“CWAC helped me to buy clothes and essential items for the kids. I think the service provided by CWAC and other HIV organisations is excellent. I am so grateful for their help, don’t know what I’d do without their support.”
“There are not many organisations like CWAC here in Scotland. It is great that I can get support from CWAC. It brings support and relief into the home and makes us feel as though others do care. I don’t feel as isolated because of my illness. Especially in the area I live due to barely any resources or organisations that help HIV positive people. Hopefully an organisation like CWAC will bring more awareness and help to reduce isolation and stigma, just by being there. Thanks a lot to CWAC – you’re wonderful.”
“I am so happy and grateful for the work
you are doing towards sponsoring [HIV] positive people.
God bless you and don’t give up the good work.”
“Thank you for financially supporting
me in my darkest moments”
“It’s great. You help us in a practical
way when social services cannot.”
“You helped with the purchase of uniforms
because I hadn’t been able to afford them for a year
and suddenly they were bursting out of them! Very generous
and responsive- it didn’t take too long- thank you!”
“They help people to live positively
and assist them wherever possible.”
“It is the only money I can spend and
take my children for a meal out as a family. And I could
buy the boys a new jumper.”
"I had just moved house and couldn't afford a washing machine; with three children it was a nightmare. CWAC ordered a washing machine and arranged it's installation. I am so very grateful. Many thanks."
“It has helped very much with the new
baby.” |
